Rabbi Yaakov Bender Visits Camp Simcha, Gives Chizuk to Campers and Staff

Camp Simcha was honored to welcome Rabbi Yaakov Bender, Rosh HaYeshiva of Yeshiva Darchei Torah, for a special visit on Tuesday, August 4.

Rabbi Bender toured the Glen Spey, NY, campgrounds, visited with campers and staff, and spent time dancing and singing with the children. He also shared heartfelt divrei chizuk and bracha, encouraging campers and counselors alike with words of Torah and inspiration.

“To walk into such a camp… and see such simcha and happiness from the boys and the counselors here is beyond!” said Rabbi Bender. “

“It is a tremendous zechus to welcome my dear friend Rabbi Bender to Camp Simcha,” said Rabbi Simcha Scholar, CEO of Chai Lifeline. “His warmth and genuine love for every child are felt the moment he walks through our gates. The time he spent with our campers, volunteers, and staff brought tremendous chizuk to the entire Camp Simcha community.”

Chai Lifeline is deeply grateful to Rabbi Bender for taking the time to visit and uplift the Camp Simcha family during the summer season.
