Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic, the leading organization providing critical support to families facing pediatric illness in Baltimore, Silver Spring, and the greater Washington, DC, area, is launching its most impactful fundraiser yet: YOU Can Make a Difference. 

In an inspiring show of unity and compassion, the students of Magen David Yeshivah, in Brooklyn, NY, have come together to support Chai Lifeline through their Chai-A-Thon 2024 Team Page. By forming a team and sharing their page with family and friends, these students have taken action to help advance Chai Lifeline’s mission of bringing hope and joy to children and families facing illness. To date, their efforts have raised an incredible $157,403—a testament to their dedication and the power of community.

As wildfires continue to devastate the Palisades and Greater Los Angeles area in California, Chai Lifeline has been tirelessly responding to the needs of families and individuals affected by the crisis. From evacuations to the heartbreaking loss of homes, Chai Lifeline is providing support, guidance, and resources to bring relief during this challenging time.

From Sunday, January 5, to Monday, January 6, more than 50 mothers of children battling serious illness gathered for an unforgettable two-day retreat, hosted by Chai Lifeline. Held on the serene Camp Simcha campus in Glen Spey, NY, the retreat offered these incredible women a much-needed respite filled with connection, creativity, and care.

Chai Lifeline’s National Gala drew more than 800 guests to celebrate and support the organization’s critical work on Tuesday, December 17 at Pier Sixty, New York City. The evening, themed “Shining Together,” highlighted the vital impact of Chai Lifeline, the Jewish community’s leading health and crisis support network.

From December 13–15, 2024, the Stella K. Abraham Family Center on the Jack & Moishe Horn Campus, home of Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special, was filled with warmth and connection as Chai Lifeline hosted a weekend retreat for families living with pediatric cancer.

This Chanukah, Chai Lifeline will illuminate the lives of children and families facing illness through an extraordinary series of celebrations across the country. From festive parties to hospital visits, Chai Lifeline regions are working tirelessly to ensure that every child experiences the warmth and joy of the holiday.  

Chai Lifeline is excited to announce the launch of its annual Chanukah Toy Drive, spreading light and joy to thousands of children across the globe. This heartwarming initiative ensures that children and families facing serious illness, crisis, or loss experience the magic of Chanukah through carefully selected gifts tailored to their specific needs and interests.
