Chai Lifeline Spreads Purim Joy to Families Nationwide

This year, Chai Lifeline brought the simcha (joy) of Purim to children and families across the country! From festive parties to Mishloach Manos deliveries, Chai Lifeline ensured that those facing medical challenges experienced the happiness and warmth that Purim brings.

“At Chai Lifeline, we are dedicated to bringing the joy of Purim to every child and family in our care—whether through exciting parties, hospital visits, or special Mishloach Manos deliveries,” said Rabbi Simcha Scholar, CEO of Chai Lifeline. “Across the country, our teams are creating moments of happiness and hope, ensuring that every family can celebrate Purim with simcha and meaningful connection.”

Here’s how Purim was celebrated across Chai Lifeline:

In the New York region, thousands of Mishloach Manos kits were delivered to Chai Lifeline families facing medical challenges, providing them with ready-to-go, hassle-free materials for them to distribute to friends and families. Volunteers helped spread Purim cheer across the region, ensuring that every family felt the love and support of the Chai Lifeline community.

In the Mid-Atlantic, families enjoyed a “Fire”lichen Purim celebration at the Fire Museum of Maryland. The day was filled with excitement and festivities, creating unforgettable memories. Beth Tfiloh Middle School hosted a Delivering Smiles & Mishloach Manos event, and the seventh grade organized a Taanis Esther Carnival, bringing together children for fun, laughter, and a meaningful pre-Purim experience.

The Midwest region turned Purim into a family-friendly extravaganza with a Purim Party at Play and Spin. Families gathered for a Sunday Funday filled with delicious food, exciting activities, and pure Purim joy. It was a beautiful way to bring families together in celebration!

In the NJ/PA region, Purim was celebrated in full force with a Mishloach Manos Purim event where volunteers took the kids to buy treats, prepare the bags and enjoyed a pizza outing when done. They also prepared Mishloach Manos to be distributed to teachers and peers, ensured that families had everything they needed to celebrate Purim with ease.

The West Coast hosted a family Purim party at Sloomoo, which offered children and parents the opportunity to make slime and enjoy exhibits for a day of fun and adventure.

Achim B’Yachad, Chai Lifeline’s division serving the Chassidish community, offered a Pre-Purim Bash at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel in Tarrytown, NY. There was delicious food, dancing and an explosive science activity for all children in attendance.

Chai Lifeline’s newly launched Sephardic Division lit up Purim with an incredible glow party at the Sephardic Family Center, bringing an electrifying energy to the celebrations. Children and families danced, laughed, and celebrated in a vibrant atmosphere, making it a night to remember.
