Chai Lifeline Shines Light of Chanukah to Families Across the Country

This Chanukah, Chai Lifeline will illuminate the lives of children and families facing illness through an extraordinary series of celebrations across the country. From festive parties to hospital visits, Chai Lifeline regions are working tirelessly to ensure that every child experiences the warmth and joy of the holiday.  

Spreading Light to Our Communities:

Kicking off the festivities, the Greater New York region hosted a massive Chanukah celebration on Sunday, December 8 with dazzling entertainment, themed crafts, and delicious food that brought smiles to all attendees.  

On December 12, Mid-Atlantic families came together for a magical Chanukah lighting at the Baltimore Chanukah House, where the glow of the menorah will illuminate the evening.  On December 13, the festivities will continue with a family party featuring a live performance by Yoni Z, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.  

In the Southeast region, families gathered on December 13 for a lively Chanukah party filled with music, laughter, and delicious treats. This heartwarming event will bring together children, parents, and supporters to celebrate and connect.

The Midwest region held a spirited Chanukah party in Skokie on December 15, where families will gather for a night of celebration, entertainment and delicious treats. 

Chai Lifeline NJ/PA brought the light of Chanukah to life with its annual celebration at Lake Terrace in Lakewood, NJ, hosting over 1,200 guests. The festive evening featured an electrifying show, lively music, a delicious meat buffet, and thoughtfully curated gift packages for every Chai Lifeline family in attendance, creating unforgettable memories for all.

A fun-filled Chanukah bash will unite the Five Towns community on December 18, where families will enjoy a night of games, activities, and mouthwatering Chanukah snacks. 

In the West Coast region, families are invited to a Melave Malka & Kumzitz Chanukah party with Moishe Storch on December 21. At the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA), Chai Lifeline will bring light to patients, parents, and staff with 1,400 donuts and an array of crafts in the hospital lobby on December 30.
