Uniting Visions, Bridging Regions: Regional Directors Converge for Chai Lifeline Global Conference

The Chai Lifeline Annual Regional Directors Conference was held from January 8-9 in the Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch, NJ, with representation from Greater New York, New Jersey/Pennsylvania, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast, as well as Toronto, Montreal, Israel, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. The leadership team united to foster collaboration and innovation in enhancing support for children, families, volunteers, and staff involved in the Chai Lifeline community.

Participants enjoyed impactful sessions from Chai Lifeline CEO Rabbi Simcha Scholar, National Director of Client Services Rabbi Mordechai Gobioff, NJ/PA Director Rabbi Sruli Fried, Director of Camp Simcha Nachman Maimon, and personal experiences shared by regional directors.  With a shared vision of improving the quality of care and support provided, each session was geared towards empowering regional directors with new knowledge, resources, and tools.

Rabbi Scholar shared that “Our regional directors are the backbone of Chai Lifeline, and this gathering further revealed their dedication and passion. We were thankful to be there together, learning and growing.”

Participating regional directors included: Rabbi Shlomo Crandall, Midwest; Racheli Daniel, Mid-Atlantic; Rabbi Sruli Fried, NJ/PA; Randi Grossman, West Coast; Esther Leah Sandhaus, Southeast; Faige Yudkovsky, Greater NY; Yaacov Blanshay, Montreal; Rabbi Mordy Rothman, Toronto; Neville Goldschneider, UK; Zaza Finkelstein, Belgium; and Elad Maimon, Israel.

“By coming together, we aim to strengthen our collective impact, ensuring that every child and their family feel supported by our devoted team of staff and volunteers in every region,” said Rabbi Gobioff.

“Connecting with fellow regional directors, sharing experiences, and learning from leadership not only enriched my skills but reinforced the importance of collaboration in our shared mission,” said Mid-Atlantic Director Racheli Daniel. “I feel blessed to be part of the Chai Lifeline family; after this experience, and always.”
