Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic Launches Mission Possible Campaign Feb 3-4

Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic, the leading local support organization for families facing pediatric illness, announces its most critical fundraiser of the year, “Mission Possible.” The online crowdfunding campaign, starting Motzei Shabbos, February 3 at 8 PM and concluding at midnight on February 4, aims to raise $500,000 to expand its vital services in Baltimore, Silver Spring, and the greater Washington DC area. All funds raised will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to generous benefactors, doubling the impact of each donation.

In the past year, Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic’s reach has surged by 75%, from supporting 80 to 140 local families. This significant increase underlines the growing demand for their comprehensive services, which offer more than just emotional and social support. The organization provides practical assistance that profoundly affects daily life, ensuring no family faces the journey of pediatric illness alone.

Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic’s wide array of services include case management, counseling, crisis and trauma intervention, insurance advocacy, meals delivered to hospitals and homes, respite care, financial assistance, big brothers & sisters, a newly-established Baltimore i-Shine afterschool program for children living with illness and loss, recreational activities and family outings, and their renowned Camp Simcha summer programs.

“The need for Chai Lifeline’s services continues to grow and more and more of our friends and neighbors need our help,” said Racheli Daniel, director of Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic. “We are a small community and each one of us can have a direct impact on local children and families, giving them the support they need to get through the most difficult of times.”

Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic invites the community to participate in this life-changing campaign. You can become a campaign ambassador or make a donation today by visiting www.chailifeline.org/possible.
