Chai Lifeline, the international children’s health support network, is proud to announce the groundbreaking of its highly anticipated new center in New Jersey. The Hanachas Even Hapinah ceremony, held earlier today, marks the beginning of a transformative chapter for Chai Lifeline New Jersey, with the new facility set to serve as the heart of all current and future services for the community.

As the Yomim Tovim approach, families throughout the Jewish community are getting ready for a time of celebration and connection. However, for families facing the challenge and isolation of serious illness, this time of year can be particularly difficult. Chai Lifeline, dedicated to supporting children and families impacted by illness and crisis throughout the year, is there to ease their burdens in meaningful ways, allowing these families to experience the joy and warmth of the holidays despite the medical challenges they face.

The Roth&Co Harmony of Hope Benefit Concert, held Sunday, September 8, was an overwhelming success, with more than 1,800 members of the greater Chicago community coming together to support Chai Lifeline Midwest. The sold-out event at the Copernicus Center featured heartwarming performances, moving tributes, and a powerful show of solidarity for local children and families facing illness and crisis.

Chai Lifeline’s Camp Simcha, a beacon of hope and joy for children with cancer, disabilities, and other serious illnesses, is proud to announce the launch of the “Eternal Simcha: A Sefer Torah Legacy Campaign.” This alumni-led initiative aims to dedicate a Sefer Torah to be permanently housed at Camp Simcha, providing a symbol of achdus [unity] and chizuk [strength] for its campers, Chai Lifeline families, and the broader community.

Once again, the Syrian community rallied together in a show of unwavering support for the Chai Lifeline Sephardic Division as our campers returned for another incredible year of Deal Day. 

This year’s Deal Day event was nothing short of spectacular, featuring 450 dedicated volunteers, 122 campers, over 250 joyful guests, and the inspiring arrival of the Tour de Simcha—a group of women cyclists who rode into the event after raising crucial funds for Chai Lifeline. Their commitment and energy were a highlight of the day, symbolizing the powerful impact of community support.

Brooklyn, NY- A special school supplies store has recently become available to Chai Lifeline children and families battling illness at home. This initiative is designed to ease the burden of back-to-school shopping, providing essential supplies at no cost to families facing medical crises in the Greater New York area.

Nearly 650 cyclists from around the world are gearing up for the 15th annual Bike4Chai, a premier two-day cycling event which raises critical funds and awareness for Chai Lifeline, the Jewish community’s leading health and crisis support network.

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. delivered a knockout visit to Chai Lifeline’s Camp Simcha in Glen Spey, NY on July 31. Known for his quick jabs and undefeated record, Mayweather brought his championship spirit to the camp, which serves children battling cancer and chronic illnesses, offering them a unique summer experience where every medical and personal need is expertly managed.
