New York City Councilman and Chair of the Council’s Health Committee Mark Levine visited Chai Lifeline’s Midtown Manhattan headquarters yesterday to learn more about the various programs and services Chai Lifeline offers to children with life-threatening or lifelong illnesses and their families at no cost.

The hour-long meeting featured highlights of Chai Lifeline, including their exceptional case management, volunteer, and crisis intervention services, as well an overview of their medically-supervised summer camps, Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special.

“It was truly inspiring to learn about the impactful programs of Chai Lifeline,” said Council Member Mark Levine, Chair of the Health Committee. “The selflessness and commitment of the leadership is extraordinary. I am grateful for the critical support being provided to children and families in our community at their moment of greatest need and vulnerability. I look forward to partnering with Chai Lifeline to continue to strengthen and expand their work.”
