Cole, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, visited Camp Simcha, Chai Lifeline’s summer camp for children and teenagers battling cancer and other blood disorders, on Wednesday afternoon. The visit highlighted the close partnership between Chai Lifeline and Rutgers Cancer Institute, and their efforts to improve the lives of children facing serious illness.

Tour de Simcha Cyclists Set Sights on World’s Greatest Finish Line

Hundreds to take part in annual all-women’s ride to benefit Chai Lifeline

On July 16, more than 200 women will clip in and ride 100 miles as part of Tour de Simcha. The annual, all-female cycling event benefits Chai Lifeline, the international children’s health support network which provides emotional, social, and financial support to children with serious illness and their families.

Chai Lifeline presents “Grandchildren in Crisis,” a discussion with Rabbi Lipa Geldwerth, Rov of Khal Kol Torah in Brooklyn, and renowned psychologist Dr. David Pelcovitz. The Chai Lifeline Annual LH Financial Winter Retreat held this year on December 27-29 at the beautiful Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park, NJ, brought together 500 family members, rabbinic figures, mental health experts, volunteers, and staff for an extended weekend of professional and peer support, educational programming, respite and relaxation, and inspiration.
