Roshei Yeshiva and Rabbanim Attend Hanachas Even Hapinah at Chai Lifeline’s New Center

Chai Lifeline, the international children’s health support network, is proud to announce the groundbreaking of its highly anticipated new center in New Jersey. The Hanachas Even Hapinah ceremony, held earlier today, marks the beginning of a transformative chapter for Chai Lifeline New Jersey, with the new facility set to serve as the heart of all current and future services for the community.

The event was attended by esteemed Rabbanim, Rosh Yeshivas, and Rebbes from Lakewood and the Tri-State area, alongside Chai Lifeline leadership and supporters. In a moving ceremony, the first cornerstone was ceremonially placed, with cement poured to symbolize the solid foundation of hope and support this new center will provide to families facing medical crises.

Rabbi Fried, Director of Chai Lifeline NJ/PA, spoke at the event, emphasizing the importance of this center to the local community. “ This new building will serve as a beacon of light for our kehilla and the Rabbanim in attendance provide support to many of our families. It will be a place of support, comfort, and strength—where families facing illness will find refuge and guidance. From children dropping in for a warm meal and tutoring to parents receiving professional therapeutic support, this center will truly be the heart of our mission in New Jersey.”

The new Chai Lifeline New Jersey center will not only consolidate all existing services but will also provide a wide range of vital new programs. It will offer children a safe, nurturing space to visit after school, where they can receive academic support, engage in extracurricular activities, and enjoy the warmth of a caring environment. Meanwhile, parents will have access to expert counseling and resources as they navigate the complexities of illness.
