Inspiring Chai Lifeline Teens Journey to Israel on ‘Trip of a Lifetime’

A group of inspiring adolescents embarked on the journey of a lifetime to Israel as part of the 20th annual Hartman Family Foundation Wish at the Wall program from February 6-17. The trip is Chai Lifeline’s celebration of life for teenagers who have either completed treatment for cancer or are living with chronic illnesses or disabilities—alternating between the two groups each year. Oncology Doctor Runs For Team Lifeline In Memory of Beloved Patient

Every once in a while, someone comes into your life and changes you forever. For Dr. Andrew Silverman, Oncology Fellow at Children’s Hospital of New York Presbyterian at Columbia University Medical Center, that someone was a boy named Eli.

Eli’s sister Yehudis and Dr. Andrew Silverman ran in memory of Eli as part of Team Lifeline at the Miami Half Marathon.
