The night was a huge home run at Dodger Stadium for both the Los Angeles Dodgers and kids battling serious illness at Chai Lifeline’s 19th annual Dodger Night. On Tuesday evening August 20, the Dodgers celebrated a landslide 16-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays while 300 children, families and volunteers from Chai Lifeline West Coast Sohacheski Family Center cheered them on.

Cleveland Indians All-Star Yasiel Puig Visits Camp Simcha

Cleveland Indians all-star outfielder Yasiel Puig paid a surprise visit to Camp Simcha in Glen Spey, NY, on Monday, August 19. Puig signed autographs for the campers, danced with them, and led a baseball clinic. Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special are Chai Lifeline’s flagship summer programs for children with cancer and chronic illnesses.

Project Chai Hosts Community-Wide Call Tonight in Response to Greenwood Lake Tragedy

The Jewish community is reeling with heartbreak following the tragic news of Reb Dovid Traube’s, z”l,  drowning in Greenwood Lake yesterday.

In response to the numerous questions and concerns we have received, Project Chai, the crisis intervention, trauma and bereavement department of Chai Lifeline, will host a community-wide conference call tonight, Monday, August 19, at 9:30 p.m. ET. Rabbi Dr. Dovid Fox, Project Chai Director of Interventions and Community Education, will address various psychological, spiritual, parenting, and practical concerns regarding children and adults.

Tour De Simcha Riders Go The Extra Mile for Children of Chai Lifeline
