CHAI LIFELINE MIDWEST LAUNCHES MISSION POSSIBLE CAMPAIGN JULY 9-10

Chai Lifeline Midwest announces its most critical fundraiser of the year, the “Mission Possible” campaign. For 25 years, Chai Lifeline Midwest has provided unwavering support and critical assistance to children and families in our community living with illness, crisis, and loss. The 36-hour crowdfunding campaign begins Tuesday, July 9 at 10 AM and will run through Wednesday, July 10 at 10 PM, with a goal of raising $1 million to expand its vital services in Chicago and across the Midwest. All funds raised will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to generous benefactors, doubling the impact of each donation.

In the past year, the need for Chai Lifeline services throughout the Midwest has surged by 136%. From case management and crisis services to family respite and retreats to i-Shine afterschool programming and unforgettable summers at Camp Simcha, Chai Lifeline Midwest has delivered over 8,500 services to those navigating their darkest moments over the past year.

Chai Lifeline Midwest Director Rabbi Shlomo Crandall stressed the urgency for this campaign. “We need help providing support and strength to over 250 local families impacted by illness. That is why we are calling on our extended family—here in Chicago, across the Midwest and beyond—to partner with us in making our mission possible. Every donation allows us to hold the hand of each family member faced with toughest of battles.”

Chai Lifeline Midwest is grateful to its community sponsors for their unwavering support and friendship, including: the Alvin H. Baum Family Fund, Lev Zahav, MacRx, Shetland Properties, Castle Healthcare, Cohen & Malad, Crest Healthcare Consulting, Elevate Care, Pearl Healthcare, Leon Korol Company, and Summit Health. Additional community partners are warmly invited to join us in this fundraising campaign to ensure an even greater impact together.

Chai Lifeline Midwest encourages the community to participate in this vital campaign. Become a campaign ambassador or make a donation today by visiting www.chailifeline.org/mw.
