Pedal With Purpose: Bike4Chai Celebrates Ten Years

On August 14-15, nearly 600 cyclists will ride 180 miles across three states as part of Bike4Chai. Now in its tenth year, the annual cycling event raises funds for Chai Lifeline, the international children’s health support network which provides emotional, social, and financial assistance to children with life-threatening or lifelong illnesses and their families.

Tour De Simcha Riders Go The Extra Mile for Children of Chai Lifeline

The Tour de France may be making international headlines, but another cycling event took place much closer to home on Tuesday, July 16. One hundred and sixty women decked out in sporty black and bright pink uniforms took part in the annual Tour de Simcha, an all-female cycling event that raises funds benefitting Chai Lifeline, the international health network supporting children and families living with life-threatening and lifelong illnesses.

Project Chai, the crisis intervention, trauma and bereavement department of Chai Lifeline, hosted a community-wide call on Thursday morning, July 11, in response to this week’s tragedy in Norfolk. More than 1,000 people called in to hear Rabbi Dr. Dovid Fox, Project Chai Director of Interventions and Community Education, address various psychological, spiritual, parenting, and practical concerns with regard to students, children and adults.
