This Purim, Send Something Meaningful, Convenient, and Safe

With Purim fast approaching, it’s time to start thinking about mishloach manos. This year, Purim falls out on Erev Shabbos, February 26. No doubt, we will all be busy getting the kids into their costumes, running to megillah leining, preparing for the seuda, and so much more. In addition, this year we are confronted with celebrating Purim during a pandemic.

Chai Lifeline 2019-2020 Impact Report Showcases Dedicated Staff and Volunteers; Highlights Challenges and Opportunities

As Chai Lifeline’s recently published Impact Report shows, 2019 was a year of significant growth and accomplishment for the organization. Dedicated staff and volunteers across Chai Lifeline’s 12 regional and international offices provided more than two-dozen year-round programs and services to nearly 6,000 children and families living with pediatric illness or loss—all free of charge. When 2020 began, and along with it a global pandemic, Chai Lifeline pivoted. While unprecedented health and economic crises seemed to bring the world to a screeching halt, Chai Lifeline charged forward. Families battling pediatric illness, more vulnerable than ever before, needed Chai Lifeline’s support.

Changing Gears: Bike4Chai 2020 Rides into Uncharted Territory to Benefit Children of Chai Lifeline

On Thursday, August 13, nearly 500 cyclists will ride more than 50,000 combined miles as part of Bike4Chai. Now in its 11th year, the annual cycling event raises funds for Chai Lifeline, the international children’s health support network which provides emotional, social, and financial assistance to children with life-threatening and lifelong illnesses and their families.

1,000 Chai Lifeline children and families watch thrilling performances by Beri Weber, Avraham Fried, Yeshiva Boys Choir and Yoni Z   

Children with serious illnesses and their families enjoyed a much-needed night out from the comfort and safety of their cars at Chai Lifeline’s Summer Kickoff Concert in Monsey, NY on July 1. The concert was the first in a series of programs and events for “Camp Simcha Without Borders,” Chai Lifeline’s new initiative to bring the magic of Camp Simcha to communities across the country this summer.
