Regional Directors Convene for Chai Lifeline Global Conference

Chai Lifeline directors from across the United States and around the world gathered in Eatontown, NJ, September 13-14 for Chai Lifeline’s Annual Regional Directors Conference. The two-day program convened directors from New York, New Jersey/Pennsylvania, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast, as well as Toronto, Montreal, Israel, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.

The group, representing more than 6,000 global Chai Lifeline families, discussed a wide range of topics, including organizational values and vision, programs and services, marketing and development, staff and volunteer training, community engagement, case management, and more.

Chai Lifeline Families Enjoy End-of-Summer Retreat at Camp Simcha

Families living with pediatric illness enjoyed a unique end-of-summer retreat at Camp Simcha’s Glen Spey, New York, campus, August 28-29. More than 250 Chai Lifeline children and parents took part in the two-day family retreat, where they were able to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy some quality time together.

Camp Simcha Celebrates Dedication of Expanded Silber & Scheiner Families Medical Center

On Sunday, August 21, Chai Lifeline unveiled the newly-renovated Silber and Scheiner Families Medical Center at Camp Simcha in Glen Spey, NY. Hundreds of campers, counselors, staff, and friends were on hand to celebrate the year-long project, which was dedicated by Mendy and Barbara Silber of Lawrence, NY.

Bike4Chai 2022 Gears Up for August 17-18 Ride

Close to 650 cyclists are gearing up for the 13th annual and largest ever summer of Bike4Chai. The two-day premier cycling event, August 17-18, is the highest per capita experiential fundraiser in the world, with proceeds benefiting Chai Lifeline, the international children’s health support network. To date, more than $8 million has already been raised to help children and families impacted by serious illnesses.

Deal Community Hosts Chai Lifeline Kids for Simcha at the Shore

Once again, the Deal, NJ community came out in strong support of the children of Chai Lifeline as “Camp Simcha Without Borders – Simcha at the Shore” came to town.  Launched in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Camp Simcha Without Borders was developed to bring the magic of Simcha to children and communities across the country through day camps and special programs and events in cities across the globe.

Tour de Simcha brings out record amount of riders

With their largest group of riders to date, Chai Lifeline’s Tour de Simcha fundraising bike ride took place on the country roads of upstate New York on July 19th.  The annual all-women’s ride raises funds for Chai Lifeline, the international children’s health organization providing social, emotional, and financial assistance to children with life-threatening and lifelong illnesses and their families.
