On Sunday March 6th, over 300 Chai Lifeline West Coast children and parents came together for an “Off the Wall” Purim celebration. The party took place at Off the Wall Family Fun Center in Woodland Hills. The kids enjoyed the many fun and thrilling attractions including extreme slides, obstacle courses, moon bounces, bumper cars, ropes courses, rock walls, laser tag, arcades, arts and crafts and delicious food.
“With so much going on in our lives right now, the stress and worry has the tendency to move us farther away from moments of shared joy and fun” said Chai Lifeline dad, Avi. “The Chai Lifeline West coast Purim Off the Wall event was truly a breath of fresh air. My kids were beyond themselves with joy! Thank you for this awesome event and everything else you have done to support our family through these difficult times.”
Chai Lifeline West Coast Director Randi Grossman noted, “At Chai Lifeline we see the challenges and daily stresses that families endure when caring for a child with serious or chronic health issues. Family outings often go by the wayside. Events like these give families a break from illness, if only for a short while. It was wonderful to see so many families come together for a day of fun and happiness.”
