FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES STORES OPENS FOR CHAI LIFELINE FAMILIES IN GREATER NEW YORK REGION

Brooklyn, NY- A special school supplies store has recently become available to Chai Lifeline children and families battling illness at home. This initiative is designed to ease the burden of back-to-school shopping, providing essential supplies at no cost to families facing medical crises in the Greater New York area.

The pop-up shop will be stocked with a wide range of school necessities, including backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, and more. All items are available free of charge, allowing Chai Lifeline families to focus on what matters most- supporting their children through their medical challenges.

“Back-to-school season can be overwhelming for any family, but it’s especially challenging for those dealing with illness,” said Rabbi Simcha Scholar, CEO at Chai Lifeline. “Our goal with this initiative is to alleviate some of that stress, ensuring that every child has what they need to start the school year off strong, without added financial pressure on their families.”

The School Supplies Pop-Up Shop opened on Monday, August 19 and will be available to families until the beginning of September, by appointment only. Families served by Chai Lifeline are invited to stop by, pick up the supplies they need, and enjoy a stress-free back-to-school experience. Special thanks to Marc Bodner of L&R Distributors and Chani Traube for set up and management of this initiative.
