Chai Lifeline West Coast hosted its inaugural women’s event, Pampering For A Purpose, on Thursday, May 16th, at Tikkun Holistic Spa in Santa Monica. The event was a resounding success, offering a day of wellness and relaxation for women while also supporting an incredible cause. The entire full-circle experience provided a meaningful way for women in the community to connect with and support the mothers of Chai Lifeline while learning about other impactful ways to be of service and support.
Pampering for a Purpose provided opportunities for attendees to relax, socialize with friends, and enjoy a day of pampering in a serene and welcoming environment. Guests were treated to a catered breakfast and lunch, and a range of luxurious spa treatments, including massages, facials, body scrubs, and more. Each guest reservation provided a sponsorship for a Chai Lifeline mom to attend the event, giving them a respite and “spa-cation” from the daily stresses of caring for a critically ill child.
One participant shared, “I just wanted to thank you for such a special day at the spa celebrating the beautiful work that Chai Lifeline does. The best part of the day was knowing that this gave some of the mothers a break to come and enjoy a relaxing day as well. That truly warmed my heart.”
A highlight of the event was the luxury spa gift bag, filled with premier cosmetics, skin care products and other deluxe gifts, sponsored by Anastasia Beverly Hills, Falke USA, Goop, Mary Ruth Organics, Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills, and Sonia Dakar. Chai Lifeline West Coast is grateful to all sponsors and the event’s corporate sponsor, Bloomingdales.
Chai Lifeline West Coast Director Randi Grossman shared, “There is something very powerful when women come together for a cause. This event brought an incredible group of women together who believe in making a difference for others. They enjoyed a day of inspiration, fun, and a little indulgence too. Most importantly, they gave back in such a beautiful way to Chai Lifeline’s moms, providing them with an opportunity to rejuvenate and relax. “
One Chai Lifeline mother shared, “How can I thank you for the incredible opportunity you afforded me today. Never have I ever gone into a spa and today was just incredible. It really helped me to recharge. “
