Chai Lifeline has announced the launch of Cars4Chai, a new vehicle donation program benefitting Chai Lifeline’s international network which provides emotional, social, and financial support to children with life-threatening or lifelong illnesses and their families.
The process is simple and removes the hassle and costs associated with selling a used car. Donors can schedule a free pickup or tow over the phone or by filling out a secure online form and receive a tax-deductible receipt once the vehicle is sold. Trucks, motorcycles, SUVs, boats, RVs and trailers are also eligible for donation.
“Cars4Chai offers a new way to support Chai Lifeline and make a difference in the life of a child,” said Rabbi Simcha Scholar, executive vice president of Chai Lifeline. “Every gift, no matter the size, will help bring joy and comfort to sick children and their families through Chai Lifeline’s myriad programs and services.”
