Chai Lifeline is excited to announce the opening of applications for the second cohort of its Lubeck Fellowship in Jewish Nonprofit and Communal Leadership. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural class of 23 exceptional participants, this groundbreaking program offers a transformative experience for young men and women eager to make a meaningful impact within the Jewish community.
The Lubeck Fellowship, part of Chai Lifeline’s Pam & Joe Lubeck and Family National Volunteer Leadership Initiative, is crafted to equip emerging leaders with the skills, knowledge, and network necessary to excel in the nonprofit sector. Over an intensive eight-week online seminar series, fellows delve into the unique challenges and opportunities that define Jewish communal organizations today. The curriculum covers a range of topics, including critical aspects of Jewish values and identity, nonprofit management, education, advocacy, fundraising strategies, and the evolving role of Jewish nonprofits in the digital age.
Directed by Rabbi Ari Dembitzer, the program provides participants with the unique opportunity to learn from and engage with some of the most prominent figures in the Jewish world. Previous guest speakers have included Rabbi Moshe Hauer, executive vice president of the Orthodox Union; Rav Judah Mischel, executive director of Camp HASC; Hillel Moerman, partner at Goldman Sachs Growth; and podcaster and social media influencer Yaakov Langer, who all shared invaluable insights and experiences with the fellows.
“We are thrilled to launch the second cohort of the Lubeck Fellowship,” said Rabbi Simcha Scholar, CEO of Chai Lifeline. “The future of the Jewish community depends on strong, committed leaders who are equipped to navigate the complexities and challenges of our time. The Lubeck Fellowship is not just a training program; it’s a catalyst for change, preparing the next generation to lead with vision and compassion.”
Chai Lifeline extends its deepest gratitude to Pam and Joe Lubeck for their vision and unwavering commitment to fostering the next generation of Jewish leaders. Their support has been instrumental in making this fellowship possible.
Applications for the second cohort, beginning in the fall, are now open, and Chai Lifeline encourages passionate young men and women who are dedicated to making a difference in the Jewish community to apply. The fellowship is open to individuals who have demonstrated leadership potential and a strong commitment to Jewish communal life. To apply or learn more, visit www.chailifeline.org/lubeck.
H! How can I apply for the Lubeck fellowship?
Thanks so much!
I know this is meant for young people, but I’ve been trying to find a way to work with and aid families facing crisis especially chai lifeline families. We are a Chai Lifeline family. I want to give back full time.
