Chai Lifeline Shines Bright This Chanukah

While the COVID-19 pandemic has made the past year extremely difficult, children—and the children of Chai Lifeline in particular—have had to confront their own set of challenges. For many, that meant a rough and tumultuous year of lockdowns, quarantines, Zoom school, and socially distanced activities. Chai Lifeline made sure that our kids and their families would finish 2020 on a much brighter note, with an incredible, smile-filled, action-packed Chanukah season.

The pre-Chanukah virtual event will support the children and families of Chai Lifeline, the Jewish community’s leading children’s health support network. World-renowned magician and endurance artist David Blaine will headline the exciting program, which will include inspirational videos and a special musical performance.

Changing Gears: Bike4Chai 2020 Rides into Uncharted Territory to Benefit Children of Chai Lifeline

On Thursday, August 13, nearly 500 cyclists will ride more than 50,000 combined miles as part of Bike4Chai. Now in its 11th year, the annual cycling event raises funds for Chai Lifeline, the international children’s health support network which provides emotional, social, and financial assistance to children with life-threatening and lifelong illnesses and their families.

Chai Lifeline West Coast presents its Annual Legacy of Hope Gala on Sunday evening, March 8, at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles. The event will honor Los Angeles residents Faigie and Ari Brecher and Dana and Pedram Labib, and will pay special tribute to the legacy of Lori Gilbert Kaye z”l, a longtime supporter of Chai Lifeline and sister of Chai Lifeline West Coast Director Randi Grossman.

CHAI LIFELINE FAMILIES HAVE SUPER TIME AT SUPER BOWL PARTY

Nearly 150 people turned out to watch the Chiefs take on the 49ers at Chai Lifeline’s Father-Son Super Bowl Party in Urban Air, Avenel, NJ. Participants enjoyed delicious food by Carlos & Gabby’s and a rocking halftime show with Mendy J and Yiddel Breuer. The event space was generously provided by Ari Moses and Mike Karlewicz of Urban Air. 

“The game was great, but sharing it with my son and all these other families was really special,” said one father.

Chai Lifeline Southeast Celebrates Annual Gala March 18

Chai Lifeline Southeast presents its 2020 Annual Gala on Wednesday, March 18, at Dezerland Park in North Miami. Synonymous with providing joy and hope to children with serious illnesses and their and families, Chai Lifeline Southeast has been providing vital social, emotional and financial support to Florida’s Jewish community for over 33 years through its various programs and services.

After Surviving Cancer, Chai Lifeline Teens Embark on Trip of a Lifetime to Israel

From January 29 through February 9, Chai Lifeline will send a group of 12 inspiring teenagers to Israel as part of the annual Hartman Family Foundation Wish at the Wall program. The trip is Chai Lifeline’s celebration of life for those who have completed treatment for cancer. Each participant is invited to share the memorable journey with a parent.
