On March 13, over 200 Chai Lifeline kids and family members took part in Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic’s Purim party held in Bais Yaakov of Baltimore. The night was jam-packed with fun activities including special themed arts and crafts, a carnival, and a stunning acrobatics show. Additionally, each child received an individual Mishloach Manos.
“We had such an amazing time,” said Leah, a Chai Lifeline mom. “My girls really enjoyed the party. It is such an amazing feeling to come to an event like this and feel so comfortable. Having volunteers that my girls are comfortable with makes such a huge difference and the programming was so fun and perfect! My child gets to relive Camp Simcha by going to events like this! It really gives her strength when things are tough.”
Mid-Atlantic senior case manager, Nechama Miller said, “It was incredible to see all the Chai Lifeline families enjoying each other’s company, relaxed, and happy. The kids were entertained, and the event proved to be restorative for all.”
