On Tuesday, October 19, Governor Phil Murphy visited the Chai Lifeline New Jersey offices in Lakewood, where he met with children and families supported by the international children’s health support network, as well as staff and volunteers. The governor was presented with a special Chai Lifeline shirt signed by the children of Chai Lifeline.
“We’re deeply appreciative that Governor Murphy came to express his support for Chai Lifeline and recognize the importance of our work on behalf of these special children,” said Rabbi Sruli Fried, director of Chai Lifeline NJ/PA. “Over the years, Chai Lifeline has been blessed to have the strong backing of many public leaders who appreciate that the best way to help children and families facing illness and other difficulties is by providing the emotional, practical, and financial support needed to take on their daily challenges.”
